You know, I think it will always be a small world. Only people with a certain attitude can be really attached to it. It’s not for everyone, it is not for ‘normal’ people, so to speak. You need some kind of ADHD, an obsession with the subject. Very often, graphic designers want to design their own typeface for a project. But once they realize how much more complicated it is than it looks, they give up the idea of doing it. It takes time, years of your life. And if you don’t see a clear purpose, if you’re not ready to invest that much time, then it’s completely insane.
