⚡ How To Get Real Feedback From Real Users
Let’s be honest. Most feedback tools get ignored. Why? Because they’re asking at the wrong time — and in the wrong way. Here’s how to do it better 👇 ✅ Feedback widgets help teams gather feedback at scale. Think in-app surveys, pop-ups, panels, sidebar buttons — they can work, if used right. ✅ Ask for feedback only once a customer has succeeded or failed. (i.e. confirmation pages, completed transactions) ✅ Ask specific questions about the process just completed. ✅ Let users choose up to 5 descriptive tags (e.g. good price, confusing layout, fast checkout). ✅ Start with quick, closed-ended questions (ratings, multiple-choice) before inviting open text. 🧭 User Journeys vs. User Flows: What’s the Difference?
Both are essential UX tools—but they zoom in on very different things. 📌 User Journeys = Big-picture thinking. They map the full experience across time and touchpoints—emotions, thoughts, and behaviors included. Example: Searching for a new doctor, checking reviews, booking an appointment, and finally visiting the office—all across different platforms. 📌 User Flows = Laser focus. They show the exact steps a user takes within a product to complete a task. Example: Logging into a patient portal and checking lab results from your first visit. When combined, journeys and flows offer both macro and micro views—a must for truly user-centered design. 👉 Read the full article
